Placing an object no longer depends entirely on describing its position. FLUX.3 Image Klein accepts named regions inside the prompt. For reference edits, those regions can specify where content starts and where it should move.

Aritra Roy Gosthipaty and colleagues documented the Diffusers integration in their Hugging Face article published October 15, 2026. It covers text-driven generation, reference-based editing and layout control. Bounding boxes use normalized coordinates, with the vertical coordinate listed before the horizontal one.

That ordering is easy to overlook. I would start with an isolated subject and compare its requested position with the generated result. Treat that as a composition check rather than assuming every surrounding detail will remain intact.

The release includes distilled and base checkpoints. The article directs LoRA training, which learns an adapter, to the base version. It also distinguishes reduced memory usage from acceleration: quantized weights do not guarantee faster execution on hardware lacking the corresponding kernels.

Useful for creators who need explicit placement instructions. The decisive limitation is visual verification: a box describes the requested arrangement, not a guarantee of exact editing.
